Grilled Artichokes

Half and clean the chokes of 2 artichokes. Heat a grill pan and place the artichokes in the pan. Brush with olive oil and pomegranate molasses, season with salt and freshly cracked pepper.

Grill each side until tender.

Bulgur Rice with Artichokes

1 cup Siyez bulgur
2 cups broth
3 artichokes
2 green onions
¼ cup olive oil
Half a bunch of dill
Salt, pepper to taste

 

Directions:

Clean and quarter the artichokes, and simmer in water and lemon juice for 10 minutes and drain. Sautee the chopped green onions in olive oil, add the bulgur. Sautee for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 cups of broth and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.  Add the artichokes and finely chopped dill weed, salt and pepper and cook covered over low heat until all the liquid is absorbed.
